“Jon
Atoms” was born in the notorious section of
Brooklyn, New York. Raised from a Puerto
Rican military family, he traveled a lot during his childhood, but Brooklyn is his home. Jon Atoms expresses his early life experiences through his music by lyrically delivering his life's most influential and traumatic moments. Much of the pain and struggle expressed in Jon Atoms lyrics come from his early exposure to violence and drug abuse. Also heard and felt in his music is the overwhelming presence of enjoyment which Jon Atoms details in his stories of excess, failure and triumph. As an artist his creativity conveys itself in his exemplary writing. His foundation also comes from graffiti and dancing. He started writing rhymes in his late teen years where he discovered his lyrical talents. He graduated from the High School of Art and Design as well as the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a specialized degree in 3D animation and graphic design.
During his years of schooling Jon Atoms wrote, recited and battled his rhymes continuously to improve his skill level of today. Even though the musical genre has always been a part of his life, he's felt his success in "Hip Hop" would be behind the scenes as a commercial artist and not as a recording artist. Currently Jon Atoms is a successful graphic designer who plans on garnering the same respect with his song craftsmanship. Family, community, purpose: has always been a driving force through his music and art. Jon Atoms got his start in recording music in the late 1990’s when he partnered in Philadelphia, PA to form "The Gators". The group was originally started by peers in New York who where known at the time as "Souls in The Pond". In Philadelphia this group of friends continued to grow until they had a movement that could be felt "in and around" the Philadelphia area. Today the remaining members of the "Gators" are spread out across the country. They continue to make their music independently as "The Crok-pit", with several projects due out early 2012.

Jon Atoms and GMGPUB did showcase the More Money Video, by Cobra City Media. The fans and supporters did tune in and Root for their artist Jon Atoms, on Feb 6, 2013. The Coast 2 Coast LIVE Online Edition is an Interactive Showcase Event that took place online powered by Google+ Hangouts and YouTube. Artists submited YouTube videos to be reviewed in an online contest by celebrity judges. The top 3 artists in every showcase receive prize packages to boost their careers!!!
